Minutes of an extraordinary meeting of the Hatch Beauchamp Parish Council held in the Village Hall on Tuesday 17 February 2004 at 7.00pm.

1025 Declarations of interest
There were no declarations of interest
1026 Application to erect dwelling incorporating a change of use of strip of adjoining agricultural land to domestic, at land adjoining 8 Crimthorne Cottages (Application No 19/2004/001)
This modified application had been received following a refusal on appeal of a previous application
RESOLVED That TDBC be informed that the Council has no objection in principle to this proposal provided that the external finishes are in keeping with adjoining properties and that off-road parking serving the new property is provided for 2 vehicles
1027 Application to erect retirement/close care unit on land to the south west of Beauchamp Bungalow (Application No 19/2004/002)
RESOLVED That TDBC be informed that the Council objects to this application on the basis that the access is inadequate to serve a new dwelling
1028 Application for change of use of dwelling to provide 2 units for retirement/close care residents at Beauchamp Bungalow (Application No 19/2004/003)
An earlier application to convert this property into 3 close care units had been approved
RESOLVED That TDBC be informed that the Council, whilst not objecting in principle to the proposal, would re-iterate its concerns about access to this property and would ask that alterations be made to the entrance to provide a splay junction and a turning area within the curtilage
1029 Footpath near Village Hall (Minute 1016)
Mr Fowler reported that after a number of discussions with Mr Durman he had indicated he would remove the barbed wire fence adjacent to the footpath but he
remained unwilling to agree to stone chippings being laid on the surface. He had no objection to wood chippings being laid.
RESOLVED That the proposal be approved and that Mr Durman be asked to remove the fence by the time the wood chippings are delivered
