Garden Retreat Standard Features

The Malvern Retreat greenhouse is a flexible building system that combines shed and greenhouse in one attractive unit. Our Retreat greenhouses/sheds all come with toughened safety glass throughout as standard.

The lean to greenhouse section is 6ft (nominal) wide and can have a pent shed of 4ft, 6ft or 8ft width added to it to make up the size which best suits your garden. You have a choice of pressure treated deal or cedar construction. Both models carry a ten year anti - decay guarantee.

Cedar is well known for it's natural resistance to rot and its longevity it is factory treated prior to delivery but will still benefit from an occasional re-treatment to keep it looking good.
Pressure treatment is another means of extending the natural life of the timber and our Malvern Retreat greenhouses constructed with this timber are proving very popular as they are less costly than the cedar models and have an attractive appearance.

Eaves height of potting shed (internal): 6’6” (1.98m).
Eaves height of Lean-To: 5’5” (1.65m).
Potting shed framing: 48mm x 48mm.
Potting shed cladding: A choice of cedar or pressure treated deal.
NOTE: Lean-To ridge boards are in pressure treated deal on all versions.
